We have a few programs in the area that I think would be beneficial to many of our patients and friends. Take a look at these opportunities and not only get motivated, but educated!
Living Beyond the Tool: This is a conference designed for individuals pre- and post- weight loss surgery. This conference cultivates a healthy lifestyle by connecting patients to fun physical activities, motivating patients through post-surgery mental & emotional adjustments, and providing the space for patients to connect with others on the journey. In addition, patients will have opportunity to sample products, win prizes, and sign the pledge to end body shaming.
Chaise to Champion: Pedal Chic in Downtown Greenville is offering a new program to get women interested in getting started with cycling or improving their health through cycling. This program will meet 2x/wk (one morning and one evening) to not only workout, but learn bike basics, safety, nutrition tips and workout plans. An informational meeting will be held on September 8th at 6:30pm at Pedal Chic. Call or e-mail them with any questions!
Let me know if there are any programs in the area that you have experienced or have been a part of that you think would benefit other patients.
